About Me

Josephinne Zelaya — now reborn artistically as JOZE — is a singer-songwriter with a rare blend of soul, storytelling, and resilience.

She began her career with what many would call a dream start: working directly with Grammy-winning mix engineer John Gass, whose credits include legends like Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston, and Madonna. Early on, she sharpened her songwriting under the mentorship of the extraordinary Edgar Cortázar, and developed her sonic identity with producers like Toby Sandoval. Whose credits include Black Eyed Peas, Paulina Rubio, Laura Pausini and more. Her artistry was undeniable, and the industry took notice fast.

She later collaborated with producer Prince Saheb, known for his work with Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne, Jay Sean and other high-profile artists across the hip-hop world. Prince saw her potential instantly and championed her sound. At that time, an artist visa issue briefly paused her ability to move forward professionally in the U.S. Rather than force things, JOZE chose to step back and focus on building a grounded life.

She got married, became a mother, and grew through life experiences — but music remained at her core.

Now back in the U.S. and fully aligned with her purpose, JOZE is re-emerging with clarity, power, and intention. With major distribution through Sony’s The Orchard and Iconic Music Group and the support of Latin hitmaker Jhon Paul “El Increíble” — whose credits include Bad Bunny, Farruko, Alex Sensation, and more — JOZE is not just returning, she’s evolving.

Her music is emotionally rich, vocally cinematic, and rooted in authenticity. This is not a comeback. This is the arrival of an artist fully realized.
